The London Eye
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel located on the South Bank of the River Thames.
It is Europe’s tallest Ferris wheel and is a very popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom.
The London Eye has over 3.75 million visitors annually.
It was built at a cost of £70 million.
The London Eye opened on 31 December 1999 as a a feature piece to welcome the UK into the new millenium.
